TRSM Undergraduate Curriculum

The University of Florida's Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management is one of three programs in the State University System that grants a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks and Tourism. The department offers six options of program concentration:

Sport Management
Recreation and Event Management
Natural Resources Recreation Management

The department is accredited by the Council of Accreditation (COA), sponsored by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and the American Association of Leisure Recreation (AALR). It is the only program in Florida accredited in all possible areas of specialization.* The Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management has fully qualified and certified faculty in each of the option areas.
To earn a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks and Tourism, you must successfully complete 120 hours of prescribed course work. Professional core courses, related option courses and specialization electives are taken during your last two years of work.
