The program’s focus is on the history of the Ancient and Modern Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation in Italy. The cultural and historical importance of Italy, Rome and Pompeii are explored through presentations, group discussions, and excursions in Rome and Pompeii. Accommodations in Rome for six nights and seven days are located in the heart of the city. A full-day excursion to Pompeii, via a luxury bus ride, includes a visit and guided tour of the city’s excavations.
