Exchange Programs

Currently, the College has two formal student exchange programs.

The Department of Applied Physiology & Kinesiology

In cooperation with the University of Darmstadt (Germany), 10 students and two faculty from APK are sent to study for 10 days in GERMANY every other year, and in alternate years, 10 students and several faculty from Darmstadt spend 10 days studying at UF.

During the summer of 2000, DRS. DAVE FLEMING (HEB) and DAN CONNAUGHTON traveled with the students to DARMSTADT, GERMANY. The program is fully supported by a German businessman associated with Darmstadt and the program has been in operation for 10 years.

The Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management

Established in 1998, this program works with the University of Western Sydney in SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA. It is for undergraduate students specializing in travel, tourism, or commercial recreation. Six students from TRSM have attended UWS and seven students from UWS have attended UF-TRSM.
