College Advisory Council

The College of Health and Human Performance fills a unique place at the university. It is the only college who has as its primary mission the prevention of disease and disability and identification of strategies designed to enhance the quality of life across the lifespan. Whether through the professional preparation programs or through the research conducted by our faculty and graduate students, or the services provided through the Al Moore Sport Fitness Program and Living Well, we are committed to a vision of excellence in all areas of our endeavors.

Our advisory council is made up of outstanding graduates of the college as well as individuals who share the ideals set forth in the college's mission. The college relies upon the advisory council members to assist us in fund raising and public relations by keeping the college name and activities at the forefront of conversations with friends, co-workers and most importantly policy makers. Through our collaborative efforts, the college is able to attract academically strong students and provide the necessary support for them to succeed both at UF and in the workforce.
