What is a Lunch and Learn?

Healthy Living Lunch and Learns are presentations that promote health in the work place. Presentations will benefit both the employee and employer. Studies show healthy employees have reduced absenteeism, more productivity and are generally happier.  The customized presentation lasts anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour, and we come to you!

Class Descriptions:

Spin Class: 45 minute cycling class that is low impact and high intensity cardiovascular workout. Participants must sign up at the front desk of Living Well or can call 392-9767 ext. 0. Class sign up starts up to two weeks prior to class, and is on a first come first serve basis. There is a maximum of ten people per class, any cancelation must be reported to Living Well 2 hours before the class. Please show up 15 minutes prior to class to set up the bike.

Toning: 45 minute class emphasizing strength exercises for the lower body, abdominals, and some upper body.

Yoga: Flow Yoga is a low impact class appropriate for all ages and abilities. This class will incorporate the breath with a calm and mindful movement practice that involves stretching, balance, and muscle strength. If you are a beginner or experienced in your practice, create a strong foundation with this class as modifications are offered for all levels.
